Dance Wire is hiring: Costume Designer in Forest Grove

Pacific University’s dance program is currently in search of a part-time costume designer to support our fall and/or spring dance shows. An average show has 4-6 choreographers, and the cast size for each work varies from 4 – 18 university dancers. This position can be split between working remotely and on campus.

This is a contracted part-time position per semester or the full year.

The costume designer oversees all aspects of costuming for the program, including fittings, construction, and equipment and inventory maintenance, and serves as wardrobe supervisor for each production.

In addition to collaborating with choreographers to bring designs to light, other responsibilities for designing one production each academic year on additional productions when mutually agreed upon.

You may also train and supervise work-study students involved in costume design and construction.
