Job Role:
We are looking for a talented Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Learning and Development team to design and develop engaging eLearning courses, presentations, and training materials. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in instructional design, proficiency in industry-standard eLearning tools, and working knowledge of Zoho LMS. Technical knowledge of software (front and back end) will be advantageous. You will have the opportunity to contribute to setting standards as part of our growing team and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop eLearning modules, presentations, and training materials aligned with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development team and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Use eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline) and possess working knowledge of Zoho LMS.
- Present design concepts and course materials to stakeholders for review.
- Revise content based on feedback to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
- Maintain project documentation, including version control and adherence to timelines.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in instructional design and eLearning technologies.
- Create course design documents with clearly stated learning outcomes.
- Develop engaging learning activities and technical course content.
- Visualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and finished products.
- Apply instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance learning.
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating eLearning course and training material design.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, etc.
- Working knowledge of Zoho LMS for content management and delivery.
- Technical knowledge of software (front and back end) is advantageous.
- Understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and instructional technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience maintaining an education catalogue with updates.
- Ability to design gamified learning, microlearning, and mobile learning.
- Ability to write clear, measurable learning objectives and assessment questions.
- Ability to visualize training content effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and multimedia development.
- Knowledge of SCORM and other eLearning standards.
- Experience with software development processes and methodologies.
