This role is perfect for seasoned professionals with a minimum of ten years of experience within architecture or commercial design firms. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 10+ years of professional experience in a design-related field. An accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Graphic Design. NCIDQ Certification is essential. LEED and/or WELL Accreditation is a plus. Proficiency in REVIT is required. Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience specifically in commercial interiors. Experience in core/shell, hospitality, or retail design is a major plus. DESIGN & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Exceptional technical and design capabilities. Thorough understanding of California Building Code and local regulations. Hands-on experience with programming, space planning, and materials selection. Experience in developing construction documentation and details. Lead design decision making processes on projects. Capable of managing a team of designers. Manage Furniture and Systems Furniture specifications along with costs and timelines. Ability to review and ensure design intent during construction. Strong presentation abilities. Expertise in collaborating with public agencies for planning and building approvals. Proficient in designing within set construction budgets. Commitment to maintaining high technical standards. SOFT SKILLS: Proven tenacity and resilience. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Skilled in coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. Adept at juggling multiple projects and deadlines. Effective at advising clients and facilitating decision-making. Uphold professionalism and project delivery standards. Interest in community engagement and volunteering activities. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must reside in the United States with unrestricted work authorization. Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and graphic formats. Willingness to travel to various studio locations as needed. Covid-19 vaccination may be required.
