Hudson Institute seeks a digital media manager to assume principal day-to-day responsibility for digital content creation and management. All aspects of this job demand an individual who is highly organized, proactive, detail- and deadline-oriented, creative, technologically sophisticated, and comfortable balancing competing demands for time and attention. For more than half a century, Hudson Institute has been challenging conventional thinking by developing new ideas and practical solutions to shape critical foreign and domestic policy decisions.Essential Position ResponsibilitiesManages and helps develop Hudson's digital strategy encompassing electronic communications, social media, videos, and website content.Manages Hudson's social media accounts, developing and posting content on platforms including X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.Creates and edits short-form video content to amplify Hudson scholarship. Photographs Hudson events, seminars, briefings, and other programs.Manage and creates a range of graphic design projects, from event invitations to animated graphics.Tracks breaking news and trending topics to leverage Hudson's policy work and expertise.Keeps abreast of the latest industry trends, developments, and best practices in the digital space to maximize Hudson's influence and reach new audiences. Assists the public affairs team with additional projects, as needed. Requirements Commitment to Hudson Institute's mission and supporting the work of the Institute's scholars and staff.Bachelor's degree.Demonstrated relevant expertise in producing digital content (e.g., social media, graphics, video). Excellent multimedia and graphic design skills.Demonstrated Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency-in particular, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.Strong news judgment and public policy/political savvy.Ability to work closely and effectively with others, including Hudson's senior management, fellows, and staff.Reliable team player who is also a self-starter. Commitment to acting with integrity and the utmost professionalism. Salary Description $60,000 - $70,000 per year
