Audio Visual Technician duties include;
- The set- up, operation and teardown of LCD Projectors, Computers for Projection, (Windows & Apple Products), Microphones, Mixers, Lighting, Pipe & Drape and Power for meetings, banquets, conventions and special events.
- Greeting our guests and assuring that they know how to work the equipment for a successful event is important.
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support for events in real time.
- Manage & Prioritize work load for multiple events in a fast paced environment.
- Hang Banners, Lighting and Drape utilizing a scissor lift.
Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable and skilled in the mechanics of a variety of audio and visual systems.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Fundamental understanding of theatrical and concert sound systems.
- Basic understanding of stage lighting, audio/visual systems, stage rigging, and stage carpentry.
- Scissor Lift Safety Training Certification is required.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
