Responsible for raw materials (resin) by keeping extruder fed with resin mixture Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisor and co-workersGive assistance to co-workers to expedite changeoversOUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activitiesFollows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processesCarry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalismLook for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possibleProduce quality materials to be distributed to customersMaintain production volume and efficiencyIdentify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better wayTroubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when neededOUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years in manufacturing, technical field, or engineeringAssociate degree, bachelor's degree, or another technical certification could take place of experience less than 3 yearsAbility to work with measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, etc.Solid technical/mechanical aptitudePhysical ability to stand, walk, bend, pull and lift throughout a 12- hour period. (Our lift limit is 65lbs)Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screenFocus on safety and quality productionBasic computer knowledgeStrong communication skillsPositive attitude and a willingness to learnPhysical Work and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
