Job Summary: The Harrison College of Pharmacy is looking for a TES Multimedia Specialist to conceptualize, design, and implement a variety of digital and media for the Harrison College of Pharmacy.

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

  • Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time.
  • Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads.
  • Assistance with special projects.
  • Seasonal work.
  • Emergencies.

AU students are not eligible for TES.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with production of electronic communications efforts in collaboration with a team of communications, writing, and editing professionals to include (but not limited to) production, design, and electronic distribution efforts.
  • Plan, develop, and execute captivating digital content that highlight various aspects of the college.
  • Create a variety of printed material for the college, from postcards to multi-page publications.
  • Create a variety of digital material for use on the web, social media, and other mediums.
  • Ensure designs meet Auburn University brand guidelines and requirements.
  • Assists with general and event photography and videography and subsequent photo and video editing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of software.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in storytelling through various mediums.
  • Experience creating marketing material and advertising programs and events.
