We are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship, Music, and Administration who is responsible for leading the church in planning, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive music ministry and meaningful, effective worship experiences as well as serving as the director of church administration.

Qualifications include:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in church music, music education, music performance, or a related field required; Master’s preferred.
  2. Experience: 2+ years in music ministry; gifted in church administration.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong musical proficiency in reading, teaching, and performing (vocals and instruments such as piano or guitar).
    2. Experienced in organizing and directing choirs, ensembles, and instrumentalists.
    3. Preferred skills in website management, social media, and online ministry tools (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter).
    4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and relational abilities.
    5. Capable preacher.
  4. Spiritual:
    1. Committed believer in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with spiritual maturity and integrity.
    2. Demonstrates a strong sense of calling to ministry, love for Christ and others, and alignment with biblical principles (1 Timothy 3).
    3. Well-versed in Scripture, with the ability to lead and disciple others.
    4. Adheres to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

Music and Worship Responsibilities include:

  1. Plan and lead music for all church services in coordination with the Pastor.
  2. Oversee all aspects of the music ministry.
  3. Direct and oversee choirs.
  4. Recruit and mentor members for choirs, ensembles, and instrumental groups, promoting musical excellence and sound doctrine.
  5. Promote and foster a healthy understanding of biblical corporate worship throughout the congregation.

Administrative Responsibilities include:

  1. Manage church administration, budgets, staff, outreach events, and communication channels.
  2. Support discipleship efforts and ensure sound doctrine in all teaching environments.
  3. Collaborate with the Finance Committee on budget oversight.
  4. Oversee background checks, security, and yearly employee evaluations.
  5. Manage the church website, social media, communication systems, and call center.
