The Trilogy Digital Platforms team serves several networks and enterprises with state-of-the-art streaming products and web services. (Dr. Phil’s Merit Street, PBR, Positiv TV, Theatrical Film Releases, etc.)
TDP is looking for a SEO/SEM Manager who is responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to enhance the company’s online presence, increase organic and paid traffic, and drive conversions. This role involves conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, managing paid search campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to maximize ROI. The SEO/SEM Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, and web development, to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects across multiple teams while supporting continuous improvement in agile processes.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical knowledge in web systems, a digital-first approach to the customer journey, is detail-oriented, and has a working knowledge of streaming media platforms. This position will report to the Sr Director of DCx and collaborate with a collection of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and content development.
- Optimize website content, including on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers) and technical SEO aspects (site speed, mobile-friendliness, XML sitemaps).
SEM Campaign Management:
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns (PPC) across platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads to drive targeted traffic and maximize ROI.
- Create, test, and optimize ad copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA), making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track, analyze, and report on key SEO and SEM metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor website performance and user behavior.
- Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable strategies.
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout the website and content production process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO and SEM efforts with broader marketing campaigns and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and SEM to ensure strategies remain competitive.
- Mentor and guide junior off-shore team members, providing training and support in SEO and SEM practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the digital marketing team.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in SEO and SEM, with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz) and SEM platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, specifically in SEO and SEM.
- Experience managing paid search campaigns with a proven track record of improving performance metrics.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
An equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be considered for substitution of educational requirements.
