Our client is seeking a passionate and innovative UX Architect to join their dynamic team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working three days in the office, with the days of your choosing. The position is likely to extend in six-month increments, offering the potential for conversion to a full-time employee.


As a UX Architect, you will be customer-obsessed, developing human-centered experiences that provide personalized, clear, helpful, and inclusive digital solutions. You will leverage human-centered design methods to plan, create, and present strategic ideas that influence product roadmaps and demonstrate a solution's potential for success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employ a range of human-centered, accessible design techniques, such as conceptual models, personas, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, to determine and convey design decisions.
  2. Optimize experience architecture to promote findability and usability, while accommodating technical and business needs/constraints.
  3. Review artifacts and deliverables from peers to ensure they accurately represent or improve upon the layout, design, and interaction patterns.
  4. Formally observe user interviews and usability sessions.
  5. Work concurrently on multiple tasks or projects in an agile environment.
  6. Deliver assets of record, e.g., wireframes, versioned prototypes, flow/process diagrams, etc.
  7. Participate in validating code is built as designed during projects (according to brand standards, style guides, and pattern libraries).

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree (preferred emphasis on Service Design, Experience Architecture, or Information Architecture), or equivalent experience.
  2. Five to eight years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry, with at least one year of team leadership experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  1. Thorough knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture, and experience architecture.
  2. Experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery.
  3. Familiarity with CSS and responsive design.
  4. Experience working in a cross-channel environment, including desktop/laptop, mobile, devices, and brick-and-mortar locations.
  5. Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
