STUDENT ASSISTANT - MUSIC THERAPY INTERN
The Department of State Hospitals-Napa, Rehabilitation Therapy Services Department has an intermittent-actual time worked vacancy for Student Assistant-Music Therapy Intern. Please contact the music therapy internship director at DSHNSH_MTInternshipDirector@dsh.ca.gov with any questions.

This advertisement may be used to fill multiple vacancies. Position will be filled based upon budget approval.
Applicants possessing experience working with adult patients in a psychiatric and/or forensic facility are preferred. Expectations for entering internship include completion of coursework towards a degree in Music Therapy with the anticipated completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalency from a university with a program approved by the American Music Therapy Association.
Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Multiple cut off dates are set for application submission: March 1, 2025, April 1, 2025, and May 1, 2025. Applications received after a cutoff date will be processed on the next cutoff date.

Range A. Enrollment as a student in a college or university with lower division undergraduate standing. (Lower division typically refers to freshmen or sophomores who have completed no more than 60 semester units acceptable toward graduation.)
Range B. Enrollment as a student in a college or university with upper division undergraduate standing. (Upper division typically refers to juniors or seniors who have completed not less than 60 nor more than 120 semester units acceptable toward graduation.)
Range C.
