They are seeking a motivated individual to join our team to analyze and report on the North American steel market, with a focus on the southern U.S. and Mexico. The role involves market analysis, pricing, content creation, and fostering industry relationships.

They are seeking a motivated individual to join our team to analyze and report on the North American steel market, with a focus on the southern U.S. and Mexico. The role involves market analysis, pricing, content creation, and fostering industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in steel market fundamentals, supply chains, end-uses, and key players.
- Collect pricing data and apply robust methodologies to assess prices in line with industry standards.
- Write market commentaries, breaking news, and insightful content to engage and grow readership.
- Expand and manage a network of industry contacts for pricing data and market insights.
- Support team members across various beats to maintain consistency and broaden knowledge.
- Represent the company at meetings, events, and webinars.
- Contribute to market engagement efforts, including content creation, industry events, and social media.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; fluency in Spanish with a focus on Mexican markets is essential.
- Interest or experience in North American steel markets, with familiarity in auto or trade sectors a plus.
- Strong networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Team-oriented and adaptable with a growth mindset.
- Familiarity with financial markets and commodities is desirable.
