About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing and Advertising Manager to support our brand and marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving brand growth.
What you will need to do:
External Marketing & Media Relations
- Develop and manage annual marketing activity with key media suppliers across TV, radio, and print platforms.
- Plan and allocate advertising spots across markets to maximize ROI and ensure alignment with product availability in stores.
- Coordinate contra media partnerships, such as collaborations with renovation shows and TV programs, to optimize brand exposure.
- Create compelling ad copy and coordinate content for editorial features and sponsored segments.
- Communicate material deadlines and changes across all media channels.
Community Engagement
- Lead the Sustainable Schools Program by identifying partnerships, managing communications, and organising materials.
- Develop content briefs, shot lists, and scripts for program-related shoots.
Expo/Trade Events
- Collaborate with state managers to organise and execute events such as trade expos and industry exhibitions.
- Create supporting materials, including merchandise, catalogues, and flyers.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver high-quality exhibitor stands.
Internal Marketing Operations
- Track marketing budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and prepare budget presentations for senior management.
- Compile and analyse monthly marketing reports, leveraging data to inform campaign adjustments.
- Support account managers with campaign communication materials and presentations.
Sponsorship Management
- Develop partnership plans to capitalise on sponsorship investments, including content creation, event activations, and product integration.
- Manage event planning, staffing, budgets, and post-event reporting to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinate key sponsorship experiences for clients and staff.
Digital Marketing
- Manage Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and YouTube, ensuring ongoing optimization and alignment with seasonal objectives.
- Build and monitor Meta Business Manager campaigns, adjusting for algorithm changes and audience targeting.
- Collaborate with influencers to amplify product visibility and brand awareness.
Product Information Management
- Organise and maintain product specifications, photography, and digital assets.
- Upload content to retail partner platforms and manage product updates across channels.
Content Creation & Shooting
- Support in-house production by organising materials, writing scripts, and capturing behind-the-scenes content.
Develop creative assets for campaigns across digital, print, and TV platforms.
About you:
- Strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager).
- Experience with event planning and sponsorship management.
- Data-driven approach to campaign optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related roles.
- Proven track record of managing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with retail and trade environments, particularly in home and garden industries, is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and Power BI is desirable.
