Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Client Communication Attorney to serve as the primary legal contact for clients. This role involves maintaining direct communication with clients, addressing legal inquiries, and providing clear and compassionate legal guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in immigration law, excellent bilingual communication skills, and a client-focused approach. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring effective case management and client satisfaction.
Location: Miami Beach, Florida
Duties:
- Respond to team inquiries regarding legal matters arising from client interactions
- Maintain direct communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and legal strategies
- Collaborate with legal team members to strategize and coordinate case management
- Conduct legal research by identifying relevant statutes, judicial decisions, and agency rulings
- Stay informed about legislative changes that affect immigration law
- Formulate solutions to complex legal issues
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the firm’s mission
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited law school
- Active Bar license in good standing in any U.S. state
- 2-5 years of experience in immigration law, particularly in family and humanitarian-based petitions
- Fluency in Spanish is required due to frequent client interactions
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility in work schedules, including weekends and off-hours availability
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing in both English and Spanish
- Advanced computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LLM) from an accredited institution
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
Skills:
- Expertise in general immigration law, with specific knowledge of family and humanitarian petitions
- Strong bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish
- Legal research, writing, and case management skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and handle client needs effectively
