From the creators of Heavy.com, EntertainmentNow.com is the new premium destination for passionate fans of television and celebrity. EntertainmentNow seeks to partner with ambitious freelance contributors whose digital journalism chops match their passion for entertainment content.

EntertainmentNow celebrates stars and reports the facts. We do not trash celebrities. Successful candidates will publish their content on EntertainmentNow. Their stories will also be sent to EntertainmentNow’s email subscribers and Facebook followers. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a highly successful publishing and email operation. We’re looking for go-getters who are independent and aggressive.

Successful candidates will report high-quality stories and create images for their stories and Facebook posts.

Some of the verticals that need coverage, in addition to general celeb and breaking entertainment news, include The Voice, HGTV, The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, American Idol, Teen Mom, Bravo, Big Brother, MTV, Survivor, Music, Country Music, The Royal Family, Soap Operas, food shows and horror. We will also continue to expand to new and exciting verticals.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate:

• Deep knowledge of and passion for celebrity and entertainment reporting.
• Ability and desire to react rapidly to breaking news.
• Exceptional digging and reporting skills.
• Strong multi-tasking and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly navigate social media — especially Instagram, X and Facebook — to spot breaking news and find additional information after a story breaks.
• Knowledge of Canva and/or Photoshop.
• Ability to produce clean and polished copy.
• Eagerness to publish a high volume of quality reporting.
