We are recruiting for a Content Manager to join our growing Social Video Services team. The Content Manager is responsible for managing a digital content library, assisting the post production and social video teams with time codes/selects for compilations, content logging, basic graphic design, optimization, copywriting and general YouTube channel maintenance. This manager knows the channels in and out and knows the assets, IP, content goals, and competitive landscape to take content on the channel to the next level. They ideate reactive content and support on the trend report. They may also help ideate creative content for production or platform teams.
We are a digital content studio and broadcaster, specializing in distribution and monetization of video content across YouTube and all social platforms, as well as production of original and brand-funded video content. We manage YouTube channels and social video for over 100 global TV brands, from Gordon Ramsay to Formula E. We also produce original and branded video content, and have launched several award-winning branded campaigns. We have offices in London, Munich, Berlin and Los Angeles.
HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Managing content libraries for one or more channels, ensuring the files are labelled with correct naming conventions and organized efficiently
- Pulling time codes and scene selects for compilation and social video edits
- Optimization of social content to prep it for distribution across social channels
- Creative support for social pages or channels including copywriting, graphic design, video editing, producing, and publishing
- General support for the social video services department
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 2+ years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience
- Remote Experience
- Good knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms and an interest in the differences between them
- Excellent knowledge of video storage systems
- Good working knowledge of video codecs and post production workflows
- Ability to adapt to new processes and workflows quickly
- Some knowledge of the YouTube and Facebook content management system and other video platforms (bonus)
- Experience producing social video (timecodes)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work
- Team player with a hard-working flexible attitude, a good sense of humour and an interest in working in a dynamic start-up environment
- Proficiency in other languages (bonus)
Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
