JOB DESCRIPTION
Hannity is looking for a dedicated, creative, and experienced Elements Associate Producer to join our team in New York. The Elements Associate Producer will support producers by finding, sourcing and cutting video and graphics and use these to help illustrate stories for air. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and have a strong passion for current events and politics.
You will be offered the following shift:
Monday - Friday, 2pm-10pm ET
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support producers by finding, sourcing and cutting video and graphics for air
- Use video, graphics and sound to help illustrate stories
- Work alongside producers to coordinate needs of the show and host
- Creatively conceive and select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to help tell a story
- Write concise, powerful, and accurate banners
- Gather/organize material from various sources with varying degrees of complexity
- Work with the edit department to ensure we have edit and show build times booked
- Support bookers during breaking news situations
- Segment produce as needed with opportunities for advancement on the show
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a television production role
- Strong knowledge and passion for research, current events, and politics
- Prior experience with INEWS and DALET is a plus
- Team-player attitude paired with the ability to meet quick deadlines and react to rapid news developments
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments under extreme pressure
- Excellent communication skills
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $61,000.00-79,500.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $50,800.00-66,200.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
