Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Art and Custom Picture Frame Sales position located in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. The Sales representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our custom picture frames, engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing product recommendations, and facilitating the purchase process.

• Experience in Art Direction
• Ability to paint or create art
• Passion for music
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of custom framing techniques is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent

Are you a motivated and articulate sales professional with a passion for art and design? We’re seeking a Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our outreach to prospect customers in the art and picture framing industry. This role involves connecting with interior designers, art consultants, and other potential clients to showcase the value of our products and services.

• Conduct outreach to prospect customers using provided contact lists and leads.
• Build relationships with interior designers, art consultants, and other industry professionals.
• Represent ModernMemoryDesign.com and FramedArt.com professionally and effectively in all communications.
• Schedule and attend client meetings (virtual or in-person) at our showroom or client offices.
• Provide clear, concise, and compelling presentations to potential clients about our art and framing solutions.
• Learn quickly about our products, services, and processes to address client questions and needs.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to varying customer requests and feedback.
• Collaborate with our team to refine outreach strategies and improve customer engagement.

• Prior experience in sales, preferably in the art, design, or framing industry.
• Strong communication skills – articulate, clear, and professional.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to new challenges.
• Familiarity with interior design and art industry trends is a plus.
• Availability to work remotely and attend in-person meetings as needed.
