The (Facilities) Piping Designer is responsible for creating, reviewing, and verifying piping designs and drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other designers. The key responsibilities of the Senior Piping Designer are creating and modifying 2D and 3D piping layouts using AutoCAD and CADWorx, reviewing and verifying piping drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, and ensuring all designs meet safety and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Highschool Diploma or GED

8-15 years of experience in piping design and checking in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation

10+ years of experience with AutoCAD

5+ years of experience with CADWORX Plant & P&ID

Strong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and best practices (ASME, API, etc.)
