Qualifications : Enrolled in college/university, with a major in communications, journalism, public relations, graphic design, or related field in good academic standing. Be self-motivated and organized. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Knowledge of public education or the Bellevue/Offutt community is helpful. Job Description :
Work directly with the Director of Communications. Plan and create social media posts on all BPS platforms that market to the appropriate audiences. Design graphics and write documents for social media and internal use. Create multimedia features using a DSLR camera. Assist in event planning and logistical brainstorming. Assist in developing internal and external communication strategies.
Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
