JOB DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Coordinator is an important part of building brand awareness across the state for The Chefs’ Warehouse Texas and the finest ingredients to the best chefs in the world. We’re looking for a person who is energized by the demands of a busy growing business and wants to contribute to our success. This is a hands-on position ready to roll up their sleeves and execute with excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient at managing account receivable statements, payments, and credits for large customers.
  • Educate and inspire customers through mouth-watering point of sale materials featuring gourmet specialties, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and other ingredients to generate incremental product sales.
  • Work with internal and external resources to develop product promotions and sales materials (flyers, product catalogs, emails, and more), and launch new products.
  • Manage digital POS library and printed sales materials.
  • Work closely with a videographer to develop meaningful content for website, social media, and collateral.
  • Work with salespeople to schedule videos with select chefs.
  • Coordinate samples or product for photo/video shoots.
  • Onsite production assistance as needed.
  • Enhance product listings on eCommerce including gathering product photos and useful product information.
  • Coordinate weekly procurement advisories and distribution of digital market updates.
  • Collaborate with vendors and assist with sales meetings and trainings. Work with vendors to add item codes to sales materials and provide sales samples.
  • Assist in execution of CW Texas events (food shows, sponsorships, and culture events).
  • Own branded swag (logo’d shirts and premiums).
  • Track sales data, customer satisfaction, and loyalty, identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Additional sales and marketing activities as requested.

Skills Required

  • Our Sales & Marketing Coordinator must be a foodie! We’re looking for someone with an obsession for unique ingredients, fresh fruit, and vegetables, who delights in new flavors and can’t wait to share with others.
  • Time management and organizational skills; attention to detail and high level of organization required to manage multiple priorities in our busy sales and marketing department.
  • Daily Excel user with practical working knowledge of analytics tools.
  • Superior knowledge of social media platforms, broadcast email, Microsoft Word, Excel, among others.

Bonus Points

  • Sales & Marketing campaign experience, execution across multiple digital platforms nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Minimal experience with food styling and food photography.
  • 1-2 years marketing experience or support of sales organization.
