smartdept. is searching for a Social Media Coordinator for a healthcare client located in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a full-time, hybrid contract opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and compile social trends, ideas, and fresh executions to inform and propose new content.
  • Develop and implement a corporate social media strategy.
  • Monitor online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure compliance with established guidelines and best-practice rules.
  • Encourage greater social media participation.
  • Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and public speaking about the brand’s social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop engaging content that resonates across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Define and create branded style templates for new and existing social content.
  • Generate “think outside the box” ideas, steering trend curation and content audiences want to rewatch, share, and continuously tune in.
  • Background in the healthcare industry.
  • SEO knowledge.

What You’ll Need:

  • Education/Experience:
    • Associate's degree in a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience.
    • A portfolio with SEO and healthcare examples.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to take creative direction and bring it to life through video editing.
    • Background in healthcare is a must.
