Description

The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for producing professional, high-quality, engaging multimedia content that includes videos, motion graphics, graphic designs, and web pages.

  • This full-time position is hybrid-remote and is based out of our Middletown, PA location. Candidate must reside within commuting distance of Middletown, PA to meet required onsite duties/responsibilities such as filming and record audio, required meetings, trainings or cultural events, as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in film production, graphic design, animation, and web design to support our marketing and branding initiatives across both digital and print channels.

Primary responsibilities include:

Video Production

Create compelling videos, combining live footage, graphics, and animations to tell a story or showcase products/services. Design and produce animations for various digital platforms, enhancing videos and other multimedia content to increase engagement. Responsibilities include filming, editing, sound design, and post-production. Write video scripts as needed. Find, acquire and add various assets including pre-created footage, photographs, music and graphics templates. Assist on video shoots with setting up lights, audio, running a video camera, scrolling teleprompter machines or giving signals to the on-air talent.

Graphic Design

Develop visually appealing designs for print and digital marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and social media content. Ensure consistency in the visual identity across all multimedia content, following brand guidelines and ensuring high-quality output in all media formats.

Web Design

Create and maintain visually engaging webpages, landing pages, and other digital assets. Work with the marketing team to ensure design functionality and user experience are aligned with brand standards. Assist with creating and maintaining websites for Vizo Financial and all credit union clients. Review the website functionality and make recommendations for improvement regarding the code and structure for the credit unions. Maintain mobile friendly, ADA compliant website designs for credit union clients.

Tracking

Assists in monitoring project progress and production scheduling to meet department and media deadlines. Accurately track video and website editing time per project to assist with estimating the amount of resources available for additional projects. Maintain archive and log video footage, graphics, demos and other project files in an organized manner.

Seeking candidates with:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing, graphic design, multimedia arts, video production, web design or related field.
  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) is a plus but not required.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver).
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet software, E-mail, Contact Management.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of AP Stylebook.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and related technologies.
  • Ability to analyze Google Analytics, YouTube, Apple Podcast, Spotify podcast and social media reports are a plus but not required.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally drive a vehicle to and from a corporate event or credit union.
  • Ability to occasionally travel five to 10 overnight stays per year.

Salary Range: Starting at $26.00 Per Hour

Work Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Travel requirements

The employee is occasionally required to drive a vehicle to and from a corporate event or credit union. Occasional travel may include five to 10 overnight stays per year.
