About the Role:
We’re looking for a part-time producer to help manage and grow the Growth Talks podcast. This role is ideal for someone who understands the podcast production process, has a keen eye for storytelling, and knows how to maximize audience reach through organic growth and marketing strategies. This is a part-time role with flexible hours (up to 20 hours a week), ideal for someone who is passionate about podcasting, growth marketing, and high-quality content production.
The ideal candidate will have experience in growth marketing and a curiosity that allows them to dive deep into marketing concepts and help craft strong, insightful narratives for each episode. They should be able to help shape conversations that provide valuable takeaways for our audience while ensuring a seamless production process.
Responsibilities- Oversee communication, invitations, and scheduling with guests. Research and prepare guest introductions and interview questions.
- Track and analyze podcast metrics to inform data-driven decisions that enhance reach and engagement.
- Brainstorm and execute new growth strategies to expand the podcast’s audience and impact.
- Manage live recordings via Riverside.fm to ensure a smooth production process.
- Work with the production company to edit long-form video and audio for high-quality episodes.
- Collaborate on identifying engaging moments to create short-form content for distribution across social media and paid channels.
- Review and edit show notes, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Coordinate with internal marketing teams to distribute episodes across various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Experience in podcast production and a solid understanding of post-production processes.
- Knowledge of growth and marketing strategies to help craft insightful interview questions and amplify the show’s reach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation, direction, and scripting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with guests, internal teams, and production partners.
- A creative mindset with strong storytelling instincts and an eye for detail.
