FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Join our dedicated team as an Art Therapist where you will evaluate and treat diverse patient populations, playing a vital role in their therapeutic journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients to identify therapy needs.
  • Utilize imaginative art therapy techniques tailored to the age and condition of individual patients or groups.
  • Design and implement engaging art therapy programs for various patient and community groups.
  • Document patient sessions, including therapy provided, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Act as a resource for the organization on art therapy practices. May oversee and mentor other art therapists, interns, and students.
  • Exercise critical thinking and decisive judgement while adapting to a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Art Therapy.
  • Certification: Registered as an Art Therapist (ATR). Preferred: Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) by the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB). State licensure if required by law. Relevant life support certification may be required.
  • Experience: None required.
