Apple's Worldwide Education Product Marketing team is seeking a Manager, Creative Production and Creative Development, who believes in the positive impact Apple products can have on education, enterprise and health segments. You will lead a team responsible for creative production and storytelling, while building and executing a production pipeline and supporting regional initiatives. Youʼll engage deeply with worldwide teams to shape the product narrative and craft a storytelling strategy to connect those products to users.

Description

Responsible for the creative process and leading a creative team to develop, review, and execute video, photography, demos and animations for education, enterprise, and health segments. In addition to the in-house team, you’ll work directly with several agency partners to deliver the work, from concept through to delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Guide teams through concept development and the execution of film and other initiatives for digital platforms and sell in keynotes.
  2. Share feedback, listen to perspectives, and solve problems within your team and across Product Marketing, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
  3. Build a production pipeline and support regional initiatives while tracking and analyzing results to drive excellence.
  4. Lead and collaborate to form ideas and co-direct teams to produce quality work.
  5. Conceptualize and implement new types of scalable formats.
  6. Establish success metrics for launched assets in the market.
  7. Present work to product marketing managers, and Apple executives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A portfolio, showcasing your work samples is required.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in a creative production design role, in a global media and publishing company, advertising agency, or for a global B2B or B2C company in the technology or retail business sector.
  • 5+ years of leadership and management experience.
  • College degree in a design-related field, such as graphic design or visual communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically about creative projects and identify innovative ways to content creation and media production that align with the critical initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Apple technology, including Keynote.
  • Proven ability to lead and partner with creative teams (e.g. Marcom), across diverse areas, to meet bold timelines, both onsite and remotely, leading complex workflows across multiple time zones with a focus on driving collaborative success.
  • Hands-on experience in video/photo studio management and graphic production, with a portfolio demonstrating an understanding of visual storytelling and design principles with outstanding production, writing and editing skills.
  • Strong skills in crafting and interpreting creative briefs, and outstanding organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are important.
  • Experience in sourcing, engaging, and handling top creative talents, with the ability to efficiently coordinate contract engagements and foster collaborative success.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptionally high standards of quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of media production-related compliance, copyright laws, and property management to ensure all content adheres to legal standards.
  • Ability to develop and assess SOWs, scope costs and required resources for media and virtual productions.
  • Skilled at quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise during production, including technical, creative, and logistical challenges.
