Job Description

Job Description

Large-format graphics producer is seeking an in-house Graphic Production Designer to create and process art files for both screen-printing and digital printing output. The position is more focused on the operational side of the business rather than creative. There are four software platforms we use: Adobe Creative Suite, Wasatch, Onyx and Trello.
Adobe is used for creating customer proofs and designing banners. Wasatch is used for creating film positives for the screen-printing operation. The position requires a working knowledge of setting up spot color files with traps and gradients for creating screens. The Onyx RIP software is used to process files that are sent to the HP and EFI Vutek printers. Trello is the communication/order entry platform where jobs are organized for production.
Candidates must have familiarity with creating film positives and setting up files for print production. This is a 1099 contractor position. Candidates should expect to work both on-site and with the possibility of performing some work remotely.

Company Description
Small dynamic, large format graphics producer. Candidates will work with customers to determine how best their order can be created. Setting up jobs on various printers such as Epson for film positives, HP 570's for vinyl, and an EFI digital LED printer for a variety of materials. Creating proofs and working with customers for final art approval. Setting up print files for all printers. Working closely with production to ensure artwork, materials and finishing methods are correct.
