Job Description
Metaverse Technical Art team is looking for a technical artist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a technical artist, you will help build a social User Generated Content (UGC) platform where people can find people, places, and things they care about.
Profiling, Optimizing and troubleshooting runtime performance (CPU/GPU/Memory) on multiple platforms
Create clear reports on profiling findings
Prototype, profile and optimize custom shaders
Optimize content through identifying bottlenecks and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation best practices.
Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety of technical and artistic tasks, including diagnosing and fixing bugs.
Create processes, tooling to validate, prototype, and implement new capabilities in partnership with cross functional teams.
Quickly solve issues with cross-functional leads.

Skills and Requirements
Demonstrated expertise at understanding inner workings of a real-time game engine (Unity, Unreal, etc)
3-5 years experience with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques.
3-5 years' experience coding in in C#, C++, Java or Python
Experience with real-time scripting
Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or games
Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
Experience communicating across team members including engineers and artists
Experience in real-time content authoring (characters/environments/VFX/animation/lighting)
Experience working with version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.) Deep knowledge of low level real-time graphics pipeline concepts.
Being passionate and informed about emerging technologies.
