Hamilton Mill UMC is looking for an Audio and Visual Coordinator to serve approx. 30 hours a week on campus. They would be responsible for audio visual and multi-media equipment and the coordination of the volunteer teams that operate the equipment for the execution of HMUMC worship services, ministries of the whole church and special events, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Commitment and devotion to the Christian mission of the United Methodist Church.
- Experience in professional audio, video production, audio and lighting consoles
- Strong communications skills when working and developing volunteer teams
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in related field preferred
- Experienced in computer skills to include video and editing programs (Adobe, Final Cut, Davinci, etc.)
- Experience mixing front of house (FOH)
- Broad working knowledge of light, sound and audio equipment, mixing and patching.
- Knowledge with ProPresenter, Planning Center Online, Microsoft Office and Mac OS
- Experience working with and training multi-media team members and volunteers on church campus preferred
- Strong relational abilities and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and professionally with other church leaders and volunteers
Responsibilities:
- Attend all regular planning meetings to assess audio visual and multi-media needs.
- Attend all regular rehearsals and worship services to run audio visual and multi-media equipment.
- Set up, tear down, operate, maintain, and oversee the use of all audio visual and multi-media equipment throughout church campus.
- Post worship service videos to webhost and manage worship live stream.
- Assist in the managing of creative content enhancing worship experiences.
- Program and manage ProPresenter slides for worship services, special events & funerals.
- Implementing strategic policies for inventory, care and maintenance of audio visual and multi-media equipment throughout church campus.
- Program lighting packages for worship services and special events.
- Support special services and events when audio visual needs are requested.
- Assist and manage projects to update multi-media equipment and sound booth wiring and organization.
- Model personal behavior and a lifestyle consistent with Christian faith and principles.
Work Schedule:
- On Campus, Monday – Thursday 9am-2pm
- Sunday: Part of Sunday services worship team – 6:30am – 12:30pm
- Wednesday: Part of Wednesday night worship team – 4:30 pm – 8pm
- After Hours/Evenings: As needed to support meetings or schedule events.
- Some outdoor work is required in support of on-campus events.
