The Opportunity:

Provide support and troubleshoot issues with existing production applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS).
2. Works closely with business analysts, UI/UX developers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
3. Develops cost estimates for software development and enhancements and conducts impact analysis for software changes.
4. Adheres to program configuration change control standards.
5. Presents ideas for system improvements.
6. Produces detailed specifications, writes software code, and conducts unit testing.
7. Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging web APIs.
8. Supports formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production.
9. Provides input into training manuals for users.
10. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.

Qualifications:

Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
2. 7+ years relevant web development experience.
3. Experience with C#.NET and Bootstrap.
4. Experience employing AWS cloud services to create cloud-native applications.
5. Knowledge of web development principles, techniques, languages, and standard programming styles and conventions.
6. Ability to manage multiple priority tasks.
7. Self-motivated task identification.
8. Current and active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
9. AWS certification (AWS Developer Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional).
10. Experience with AI Tools.
11. Experience with Python.
12. CompTIA Security+ Certification.
13. Knowledge of Agile software development.
14. Commercially published work.
15. Knowledge and understanding of the DoD or IC communities.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is: $94,400 - $198,300. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
