Senior React UI Developer
Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior React UI Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing and developing cutting-edge user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, excels in handling ambiguity, and has a track record of successfully taking projects from concept to market.
This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade React applications from inception to deployment.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple departments to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and implement chat interfaces and other interactive UI components.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
- Work closely with the Director of Consumer and Marketplace Data Engineering and other engineers to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Adapt to shifting project requirements and pivot strategies as needed in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply advanced understanding of React ecosystem tools, including hooks, lifecycle methods, and component-based architectures.
- Leverage tools such as Redux, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js for efficient development and deployment.
- Contribute to a positive team culture with a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of experience in building production-grade user interfaces, including end-to-end design and development.
- Proficiency in modern UI technologies such as React, and familiarity with frameworks like Flutter is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with tools in the React ecosystem, such as Redux, Node.js, npm, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Next.js and TypeScript is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders across departments.
- A passion for innovation and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Compensation: $68.67/hr. (DOE)
