Equipment Technician - Thin Film CVD Job at TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufact

As an Thin Film - CVD Equipment Technician, you will perform chamber and platform basic maintenance, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting on tools and will be responsible for supporting a variety of Etch platforms.

Position typically assigned to a 12-hour day or night shift compressed work week schedule with 3 days on one week and 4 days on the next.

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and other tool owners to improve the overall area/tool performance.
• Performing basic tool maintenance and repairs according to equipment operating instructions.
• Providing accurate and detailed information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status, at shift pass down.
• Certification on tools.
• Supporting the Thin Film - CVD area with other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Associates degree equivalent coursework and/or military experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Troubleshooting knowledge (electrical and mechanical).
• Team player with the motivation to learn.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range.
