The Hertz Corporation Social Media Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Social Media Specialist is a key member of the Digital Customer Care team. The Digital Customer Care team engages with customers across multiple social channels to drive a positive customer experience and promote brand loyalty. The Social Media Specialist actively monitors social communities to address issues and ascertain various levels of issues in our brand voice and tone.

The starting salary is $19.23 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Respond and resolve customer issues and provide a positive interactive experience across all Hertz brands on social channels.
  2. Maintain and improve upon current industry best response times during prime social hours.
  3. Engage with customers via Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and additional key customer care channels.
  4. Drive brand loyalty through positive social customer engagement.
  5. Communicate company policies to customers in a courteous style.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
  2. Customer Service experience, required.
  3. Experience using social channels to interact with customers.
  4. Excellent written communication skills including typing, grammar, spelling, and copy-editing.
  5. Computer literate with ability to learn new applications quickly.
  6. Positive attitude and ability to empathize with others.
  7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  8. Ability to make quick and correct decisions within internal guidelines in a high-pressure environment.
  9. Team oriented, flexible, and focused on completing projects in a timely manner.
  10. Must have quick and efficient typing skills.
  11. Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
  12. Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal-oriented mindset.
  13. Ability to see the big picture and leverage critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  14. Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
