Social Media Intern

Location: De Pere, WI/ in the office

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Director of Driver Recruiting

Job Description: Support the activities within the Marketing/ Driver Recruiting department by creating compelling content for internal and external communications as it pertains to Recruitment, Brand Awareness, and Retention.

Hourly wage: $15.00-$18.00

Essential Functions/Specific Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.

  • Review messages via social media and follow guidelines to respond.
  • Build our social media short video library.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content with regularity (original text, images, video, or HTML)
  • Set up and optimize company social pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content (including social media as well as blogs on the main website and platforms)
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules and coordinate production.
  • Provide reporting on social media marketing analytics and KPIs as well as continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
  • Learn how the recruiting process works and assist with building specific content to hire passive job seekers.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Presently a student out high school that is moving toward a degree or certification in advanced education. Will consider a Freshman-Senior level student. Needs to be willing to work around the school schedule and fulltime during breaks from school and during the summer.
