About the Role We are seeking an experienced field and events marketing leader to join our team to oversee our global field marketing program. Reporting into the VP of Revenue Marketing, you will align our global field marketing strategy to the needs of the sales team across regions - focusing on partner activations in EMEA and APAC, and driving a dedicated hosted and sponsored event strategy for our MSP segment in North America, for example. Your primary objective will be to drive new business pipeline, across both inbound and partner generated sources. You will partner with sales leadership in each region to best allocate our field marketing budget, and oversee a team of 4 global field marketers who are responsible for ~30-45 events each quarter (10-15 each). The ideal candidate for this position should possess experience in global field marketing, events management, program management, and partner marketing. We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational abilities, outstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and strong time management skills and willingness to roll your sleeves up and get things done. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a team of 4 global field marketing managers (2 in NA - Mexico, 1 in EMEA - Greece, 1 in APAC - India) Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales and key VAR/distributor partners to define the strategy for our field marketing programs across regions Oversee the team building out quarterly field marketing plans with a focus on driving net new pipeline, supporting overall business growth goals Uplevel our events budgeting strategy, building tighter alignment to the pipeline and ARR needs of the business Improve our benchmarking and create global expectations for cost-per-lead/MQL/S1 per event format, driving toward a clearer understanding of ROI Own the full field marketing budget, and ensure the team is staying within +/- 5% of budget, and aligned with finance forecasts Improve our event attribution and reporting post-event, finding ways to better track deal registrations and partner-generated pipeline originating from events Partner closely with the global demand generation team and global SDR team to drive meaningful improvements to our post-event email nurture + SDR outreach programs, improving our MQL:S1 conversion rates from events Improve internal collaboration within marketing, and uplevel brand presence at events, ensuring alignment with key product messages, brand guidelines and thematic campaigns Develop SLAs and efficient processes for post-event lead handoff and follow through, with a goal of driving positive ROI from field investments Provide innovative ideas to enhance the success of joint JumpCloud and partner events to maximize budget opportunities Work closely with our strategic partners (Google, AWS etc) in region alongside the JumpCloud sales team Incorporate top partners into quarterly planning process, with a focus on lead and pipeline generation Minimal travel required for this role (less than 10% of the time); remote role with some expectation on travel for team offsites, and some travel for events Required skills and qualifications:
8-12 years field marketing or partner marketing experience in high volume B2B SaaS Proven experience in developing and executing successful field or partner marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and partner revenue growth Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work within multicultural teams and across internal and external stakeholders Global experience in at least 1 region other than North America Previous experience managing events end-to-end, including owning budget, vendor management and post-event lead follow up Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights and make decisions to optimize marketing performance Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges Expertise in reporting and understanding of CRMs like Salesforce A team player who excels at building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $140,000 - $200,000 USD, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.
