Technology Systems Designer
to contribute to the design and development of
Telecommunications, Security, and Audio-Visual (A/V) systems
for a variety of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to produce high-quality construction documents.

Telecommunications, Security, and A/V
systems under the guidance of senior staff. Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents with a focus on technology requirements. Develop expertise in the latest design software, including
Revit
and BIM modeling. Conduct on-site condition surveys to inform project requirements. Review and provide feedback on contractor submittals. Manage time effectively across multiple design projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. Utilize innovative methodologies and technology to develop cutting-edge building design solutions. Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent in
Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering
required.
Candidates with
5+ years of relevant experience
may be considered in lieu of a degree.
A minimum of
10 years
of experience in installation, maintenance, design, and specification of technology systems (Telecom, Security, A/V), preferably in sectors such as
government, healthcare, higher education, and science & technology. RCDD certification required. Strong understanding of
inside-plant (ISP)
and
outside-plant (OSP)
telecommunications design. Occasional travel (
