The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR Associate Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations plans that enhance the company's brand, increase visibility, and support business objectives. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in managing media relations and public perception.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with EY management to understand business objectives and establish PR programs that promote the firm.
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Manage and oversee all public relations activities, including media relations, press releases, and social media.
Build positive relationships with key media contacts to gain positive exposure for the firm.
Create and distribute compelling content, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
Promote EY through media briefings, news releases, events, and articles.
Coordinate national PR strategies with regional public relations efforts.
Collaborate with BMC team to ensure cohesive messaging.
Analyze appropriate communications channels to build awareness of the firm's key messages.
Prepare and train company spokespeople for media interviews and public appearances.
Analyze PR campaign performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Skills and attributes for success:
Adept at overseeing press collateral development and managing outside PR agency support.
Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communication, and brand management.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative PR campaigns.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
10-plus years of public relations/communications-related experience.
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management skills and team building skills.
