Nationwide Video is hiring: Audio Visual Equipment Service Coordinator in Wixom

Overview:

This position works closely with Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse Operations departments to facilitate and expedite the repair of A/V rental equipment.

Must have audio visual experience working with or repairing audio visual equipment.

Essential Functions:

Coordinate all AV rental equipment service and repair requests with Nationwide warehouse locations throughout the United States and Canada.

•  
• Prioritize A/V repairs by making appropriate decisions to utilizing in-house Quality Control Technicians, OEM’s, and/or third-party repair centers
• Speaking with vendors and obtaining quotes to purchase and maintain inventory of A/V repair and spare parts equipment
• Prepare replacement parts requests from inventory and coordinate shipment to offices in need
• Identify and condense parts/accessories within inventory
• Communicate equipment service status and product availability to the Customer Service and Logistics departments
• Maintain knowledge of internal software used to track inventory and shipments
• Monitor deliveries and any past due shipments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage their performance
• Assist Accounting Department with Purchase Order/Invoice research as needed

Organize and maintain all service and repair parts inventory and service area

• Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory
• Receive and stock parts orders
• Conform to 6s standards

Work as part of the equipment repair team

• Assist with basic A/V repair work that includes troubleshooting or logistically moving parts from one office location to another.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 10 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Work hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday with a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Occasional evening and weekend work are required as job duties demand.

Travel:

Travel may be required for this position as mandated by the needs of the 8 Nationwide locations which may include out-of-area and overnight travel.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1+ years of A/V gear equipment experience
• 1+ year experience in inventory management
• Data collection experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• 1+ years of A/V gear equipment experience
• 2+ years of purchase contract experience
• 2+ years inventory management experience
• 2+ years of Oracle or SAP business operating system experience
• Associate's degree in a Business-related field
