This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated professional to leverage their litigation, foreclosure, and collection case experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our business, ensuring the legality of our activities, and providing expert legal advice on various issues. They will play a critical role in managing the legal risks faced by our organization and ensuring its adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.Responsibilities: Overseeing all legal matters across the organization, including strategic and operational legal activities. Formulating and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal statutes and industry regulations. Representing and defending the company in litigations involving creditor rights, foreclosure, and collection cases. Providing expert advice and guidance on legal matters to the executive management team. Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal contracts and agreements to protect the company's interests. Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of attorneys and legal professionals. Coordinating with external counsels as required. Staying abreast of current and emerging legal trends in the mortgage industry and advising management on potential impacts on the business.Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a practicing attorney in the mortgage industry, with a focus on creditor rights, foreclosure, and collection cases. Admission to the state bar. Strong knowledge of federal and state laws related to mortgages, foreclosure, and collections. Proven experience in managing a team of legal professionals.
