What You'll Do

HIKE2 has an exciting opportunity to help accelerate digital transformation for our clients. We are looking for a

Pittsburgh based

strategic, brand oriented product thinker, with the desire to provide highly creative ideas for all your engagements. You will be part of a cross-functional team applying human-centered design methods, service design concepts, and innovation to deliver experience driven solutions to our clients.

As a UX Designer you will be evaluating human needs, business goals, organizational capabilities and supporting technology to design effective and efficient services that positively impact interactions and experiences of our clients and their customers. You will define, design, prototype and implement business processes supported by technology that reflects the most effective paths. Our mission for every client is simple: to create seamless experiences for all people, processes, and technologies.

Evaluate existing customer journeys, establish strategies, and develop a roadmap forward that will result in positive outcomes Design new, engaging digital experiences for web and mobile products, as well as extending and enhancing existing designs based on established design systems. Perform competitive brand assessments and provide innovative alternatives. Consult with clients and team members about the benefits of accessible experience and visual design. Contribute to and create personas, journey & process maps, conceptual prototypes, and interfaces that follow interaction design and usability best practices. Create clean, informative, and concise presentations to clients and internal teams that communicate discovery findings and the rationale behind your designs. Assess existing business processes and identify opportunities and define a phased approach for enhancements. Research and understand design and technology trends. Articulate and champion human-centered design methods and approaches, design thinking, service design with HIKE2 clients and within HIKE2 Currently based in Pittsburgh, PA Bachelor's degree in Human-Centered Design, Business, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field 2+ years of experience as a designer Experience designing for Salesforce preferred but not required Consulting/agency experience preferred but not required Experience conducting user research (including user interviews and leading collaborative sessions) from the planning stage through execution and translation into actionable insights Strong understanding of human-centered design strategies, methods, and approaches, and how to apply them Experience leading design activities for complex business solutions Ability to communicate functional capabilities of systems and applications through a service design lens, using layman's terms Pixel-level attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, with some supervision, in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Strong consultation and collaboration skills; comfortable facilitating meetings and workshops with cross-functional project teams Strong visual communication/diagramming and presentation skills

The annual base salary range is $65,000-$75,000/year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the HIKE2. total compensation package, which includes the below:
