Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Designers develop creative concepts and act as project leads who assist designers and junior designers. They are expected to specialize in a particular brand or process so they can act as the main resource for those tasks.

CREATIVE/HANDS-ON WORK 80%

1. Support the Associate Creative Director with the development of concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
2. Take on appropriate projects and own them, start to finish.
3. Understand and follow brand standards, brand guidelines and toolkits.
4. Manage multiple projects, tasks and functions.
5. Follow business objectives, communication strategy and creative briefs.
6. Use strong analytical thinking skills and develop compelling design solutions.
7. Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
8. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and design explorations to find the strongest creative response.
9. Share responsibility with planning to shape strategic branding.

MANAGEMENT 20%

1. Work with designers to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns.
2. Work closely with your creative director, associate creative director and account executives to ensure that deadlines are met.
3. Mentor Team Members and help them achieve agency creative standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Proven work experience as a Senior Designer, Graphic Designer or similar role
2. Portfolio of completed design projects
3. Hands-on experience with image editing software
4. Proficient in design software (e.g. InDesign)
5. Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
6. Attention to visual details
7. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team
8. BSc degree in Design, Visual Arts or experience in a relevant field
