Position Title: Student Worker Expressive Arts - Photography

Summary: Assists the Photography Studio.

Duties:

• Cleans and maintains the digital studio and traditional photo lab/darkroom clean and organized.
• Coordinates with IT to work out solutions for computer issues in the digital studio.
• Color calibrates all monitors.
• Maintains inventory of digital and traditional lab materials.
• Assists students with technical issues.
• Beta tests learning videos created by instructor.
• Photographs and edits images taken at Expressive Arts and WNMU and community events.
• Creates and maintains storage supports for studio supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Background:

Job Knowledge: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Skills in photography, image capture and editing. Skill in general office duties and office equipment to include telephones, copier, fax, and computer/computer programs. Must be knowledgeable of University policies and procedures. Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy. Must be sensitive to cultural differences within the University and community. Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Normal office environment. May be required to lift normal office equipment and materials. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing, and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.
