Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Design Manager to oversee and lead design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership skills to ensure high-quality project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of interior design projects, including planning, conceptualization, budgeting, and execution.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and budget constraints.
Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and project proposals.
Oversee the selection of furniture, materials, colors, and finishes that align with project goals and client preferences.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project implementation.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful completion.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design integrity is maintained.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations to bring fresh ideas to projects.
Lead and mentor a team of interior designers and assistants, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and furnishings.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Professional certification (NCIDQ) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in commercial and residential design projects.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Understanding of budgeting and financial management related to design projects.
