How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Piping designer shall be responsible for development of plot plan/equipment layout in the development phase and project execution. In addition, having knowledge of design tools shall work on development of 3D models to contribute during the execution phase.

  1. Preparation of optimized plot plan, equipment layout during proposal phase
  2. Traveling to the site for survey and measurement
  3. Develop layout and 3D model for new products.
  4. Work on development of 3D model during project execution based on P&IDs and engineering data from vendors
  5. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to check for interfaces in the 3D model.
  6. Incorporate Supports in the 3D model as calculated by Stress Specialists
  7. Generate drawings from the 3D model- Plot plan, equipment layout, isometrics, pipe support drawings MTOs etc.
  8. Involvement in company standard (creation & update).

Are you a MATCH?

  1. Bachelor degree, majored in Mechanical piping or relevant.
  2. Minimum 3-10 years of experience in related fields.
  3. Experience with various National and International codes - OSHA requirements, ASME codes
  4. Strong experience with process and piping systems.
  5. Strong Experience in Optimization of layouts
  6. Proficiency in use of 3D modeling softwares (SP3d/Aveva 3D/CADWorks etc)
  7. Cost Awareness and Consciousness
  8. Good organizational skills.
  9. Eager to work in a multicultural team. Ability to work effectively with different disciplines in Engineering, Procurement and construction.
  10. Self motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  11. Strong knowledge to read and interpret engineering drawings (2D and 3D).
  12. Capability to coordinate with the engineering team (Process, Civil, Structure & piping designer).
  13. Ability to work with different technologies at various stages of project from proposal, product development to project execution.
