Minga is a wholesale distributor specializing in Fair Trade products (clothing, jewelry, gift items). We are looking for an honest, humble, hard-working individual with an eye for detail.

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Marketing Manager (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Our company is looking for an experienced marketer to assist in our day-to-day Marketing, Advertising, Brand building, and Product Development. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.

The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines.

The ability to show past examples of work, and explanation of strategy and tactics used is essential for applicants applying for this role. Prior experience in building a brand, and growing B2B or wholesale business is essential for this role.

E-commerce experience with selecting products, managing multiple sales campaigns, and adjusting based upon sales data will enable a candidate to succeed in this role.

Experience with grassroots marketing is a benefit for this position.

The ability to track and assess metrics across multiple platforms, report on ROI, and deliver periodic reports on marketing success backed by data is essential.

This role will take ownership in concept, design and production of a wide range of materials, including:

  • Brand Building: brochures, reports, signage, mass-mailing and specialty-mailing campaigns, creation of catalogs.
  • Web design: Keep website up to date, direct, manage, and carryout redesigns.
  • Electronic media management: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
  • Merchandise, showroom, trade show booths, warehouse displays.
  • Marketing: trade show booths, banners, displays, and surveys.
  • Advertising: Print and web-based.
  • Photography: take digital pictures, select images, contract for freelance photo shoots.
  • Tracking data across multiple platforms: Google Analytics, WooCommerce, etc.
  • SEO optimization across our web presence.
  • Designing and updating a marketing calendar/plan.

You must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field or equivalent training.
  • Be creatively talented, have attention to detail, and be able to produce.
  • Be both a team player and able to work independently.
  • Have intrinsic motivation and the ability to improve current approaches, while also bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Have a high level of organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively with in-house sales, operations, and staff as well as with clients.
  • Have solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages.
  • Be proficient with Macintosh/Apple and PC systems.
  • Be proficient with Adobe: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, WordPress, HTML.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Be proficient with mainstream browsers including Internet Explorer and Chrome.
  • Be proficient with mainstream social media systems including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, and YouTube.
  • Be proficient with tracking and optimizing conversions across platforms.
  • Be proficient with Google Analytics, Lighthouse.
  • Familiarity with mass send email platforms: Mailchimp, Constant Contact.

The following abilities are a plus but not required:

  • Bilingual, Spanish.
  • Sales or Customer Service Skills.
