Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team in Lexington, KY. This individual will be responsible for managing and executing social media campaigns, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance our online presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media trends, highly organized, and capable of driving brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to align with company goals.
  2. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and emerging channels.
  3. Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
  4. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and ensure brand consistency.
  6. Analyze social media performance metrics, prepare reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to optimize performance.
  8. Assist in planning and executing paid social media campaigns to reach target audiences.
  9. Support overall marketing initiatives by contributing creative ideas and insights.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  2. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  5. Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  6. Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  8. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required.
