Look Listen is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to join our team of problem-solvers and creative thinkers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading UX strategy and interface design projects across responsive web, native apps, and emerging platforms. The ideal candidate is driven by a passion for crafting elegant, user-centered solutions and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional, internal teams and client teams to deliver engaging, intuitive experiences that not only meet but exceed client goals.
Key Responsibilities
User-Centered Design: Lead and execute UX strategies across multiple touchpoints, including websites, mobile apps, portals, and interactive tools. Design with a keen understanding of usability best practices, visual hierarchy, and accessibility principles.
Cross-Platform & Responsive Design: Bring expertise in designing for both native applications and web environments, with a strong grasp of responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experiences across devices and screen sizes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with visual designers, developers, content strategists, and client service teams to develop cohesive digital experiences that align with client objectives, staying within timelines and budgets.
User Research & Insights: Conduct, interpret, or advise on both qualitative and quantitative user research to inform design direction. Lead the creation of personas, customer journeys, and conceptual prototypes to guide and enhance project workflows.
Design Systems & Branding: Collaborate in the development and extension of design systems and brand guidelines, ensuring consistent, scalable design elements across projects. Support brand identity work as needed, contributing to visual elements like infographics, iconography, and presentation decks.
Production & Quality Control: Support production tasks, including sourcing imagery, resizing assets, and updating presentations, ensuring all outputs are polished and aligned with brand standards.
Client Interface & Advocacy: Lead client calls and report/translate back from client to the internal team
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 8+ years in a UX or product design role, as demonstrated by an impressive portfolio showcasing work on both native and web applications.
Research & Strategy: Proficient in conducting or guiding user research, developing UX audits, and facilitating UX workshops. Skilled in translating research insights into actionable design strategies.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with experience across platforms like web, native OS apps, and embedded applications. An advocate for accessible, inclusive design that accommodates a diverse audience.
Analytical & Presentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform competitive analysis, produce strategic design recommendations, and present design rationale effectively to both clients and internal teams.
Trend Awareness: Up-to-date on current UX/UI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design thinking and agile methodologies. Eager to drive innovation and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our design capabilities.
Communication & Feedback: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Able to provide constructive design feedback, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Client Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, ensuring expectations are clear and design solutions are aligned with business objectives
