Key job responsibilities As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for security, identity, and compliance, you will be part of a team tasked with:
Developing messaging and positioning that highlights how AWS services help customers secure their digital transformation. Drive the success of AWS security initiatives like helping customers secure their applications early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Work with product and sales teams creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions. Support marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and service adoption.
A day in the life Drive understanding of application security messaging and positioning for AWS. Build use cases and solutions content. Develop compelling and strategic customer references, including deep dives on ROI from implementing cloud security strategies and models. Write compelling content and tools (eBooks, presentations, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos, and more). Develop and execute on innovative product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively. Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field, and event marketing) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives. Continuously measure and optimize your product marketing initiatives.
About the team Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals. 5+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, or product marketing/management with a track record in crafting messaging and positioning. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting. MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background. 5+ years experience in product marketing for security products. Experience with workload protection and/or application security technologies.
