Reports To: Chief People Officer

Job Summary:

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the internal communication strategy for Versova to ensure operational efficiency and support through leadership. The Internal Communications Manager will work closely with senior leaders, key stakeholders, external consultants and cross-functional departments to ensure consistent and impactful messaging that is clear, consistent, and aligned with Versova's values, principles and goals. The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company's culture. The ideal candidate has a strong background in internal corporate communications, content creation and delivery, and possesses excellent leadership, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and lead the implementation of the internal communications strategy for the organization to foster employee engagement, promote organizational values, and ensure effective flow of information utilizing key messaging, various communication channels, and tactics. Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations. Drive culture and performance through communications. Understand all strategic initiatives through engagement with internal leaders. Ensure brand consistency across all internal communication materials. Maintain brand guidelines, including tone of voice, visual identity, and key messaging. Work with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure that all internal communication is aligned with business objectives and supports the company's culture and values. Manage and maintain the company's internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's goals and values. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis. Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant. Identify opportunities to promote employee engagement and help foster a positive company culture. Collaborate with Versova's external communications stakeholders and Versova's public relations vendor to ensure consistent messaging between Versova's external and internal communications. Serve as the primary point of contact for managing crisis communication situations. Working with Versova's public relations vendor and external communications team to develop crisis communication plans, coordinate responses, and work closely with senior management to ensure timely and effective communication. Qualifications:

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align communication initiatives with business objectives. Demonstrated experience understanding strategy and effectively cascading communication through the enterprise to affect intended outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences and channels. Exceptional listening skills Demonstrated experience with content creation and delivery (i.e. email, newsletters, intranet content, and presentations) Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills. Self-directed, comfortable working independently as an individual contributor. Desired additional skills, but not required:

Knowledge of the agriculture industry, specifically egg production, is a plus. Experience in short-form video creation and editing, and use of video production software. Familiarity with graphic design software, content management systems, and analytics tools. Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (5+years) in internal communications, corporate communications or a related field, preferably within the agriculture or food industry. Preferred Skills:

Bilingual in English Physical Requirements:

Agile, able to lift 50lbs. Also, must be able to work in various climate conditions, including extreme cold. Travel:

The position will require approximately 20% travel on an intermittent as needed basis.
