ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Design Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the interior design process for large scale residential projects by collaborating closely with a Junior Designer, Senior Designer, and Management.
This is an onsite role and candidates must reside or relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. Parking is provided!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Project Lead on all phases of the design process from conception to installation Source materials, fixtures, fabrics, and furnishings Maintain FF&E schedules, issue specifications for lighting, materials and millwork, and execute orders with work rooms, vendors and subcontractors Track and maintain spreadsheets, budgets, quotes, proposals, and purchase orders Procure and obtain pricing for all products Produce design presentations and mood boards Compile and organize design and construction documents for client presentations Liaise with suppliers and vendors Manage vendors and design library
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture 0-2 years of experience in the residential design industry Proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Mac Applications and Google Workspace. Familiarity with Studio Designer, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office a plus. Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills Resourceful and eager to learn with the ability to hit the ground running Self-starter, motivated, organized, detail oriented, talented, creative, and diligent Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced, busy, and creative atmosphere Experience maintaining interiors drawing sets including furniture and lighting plans, elevations, tile and stone layouts, and millwork details a plus Experience maintaining FFE schedules, issue specifications for lighting, materials and millwork a plus Efficient with an ability to take initiative and problem solve independently Proactive, flexible, dependable, and service oriented Current driver's license with reliable transportation
